OverviewGEM Eng Serv sought to build a structured talent development ecosystem that could systematically develop Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) across various domains. The organization recognized that creating true expertise requires more than just training courses. It requires continuous learning, mentoring, assessments, practical assignments and ongoing feedback over an extended period. To achieve this vision, GEM Eng Serv partnered with Crescibit to build the Talent Management Academy (TMA), a platform designed to guide learners throughout their journey from beginner to Subject Matter Expert.

Multi Level SME HierarchyEstablished a structured hierarchy consisting of Chief SMEs, Mentor SMEs and Learners. Enabled learners who achieve higher proficiency levels to mentor junior learners, creating a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous development.
Collaboration & Communication PlatformDeveloped a dedicated communication channel between learners and SMEs. Enabled real time discussions, assignment sharing, grading, feedback and progress reviews. Created an environment that encourages continuous engagement and motivation.
Seamless Enterprise IntegrationIntegrated the platform with SAP to automatically synchronize employee information on a daily basis. Ensured learner profiles, organizational hierarchy, department details, and reporting structures remained up to date without manual intervention. Provided a single source of truth by keeping the Talent Management Academy aligned with the latest employee records maintained in SAP.
